Camp in the backcountry

 nps.gov

There is nothing more peaceful than camping under the stars and in the Great Smoky Mountains, the sky is filled with them. There are 800 miles of trails, many of which offer mountain vistas, babbling brooks, waterfalls, and groves of the forest. You can pick up a guidebook to help you choose the best trail and location to go camping. Not into true rustic camping? Visit the LeConte Lodge at the top of Mt. LeConte. Although the lodge offers a structure, there is no electricity, yet it sells out quickly.
