Smoky Mountain Riding Stables offers guided horseback ride tours with peaceful views of the mountain. You may see a flock of wild turkeys, deer prancing across a meadow or even a black bear relaxing along the trail. No experience is necessary for the trail rides, and they are kid friendly. Riders must be at least five years old and weigh no more than 225 pounds. Children may not double up on horses. Reservations are not necessary unless you have a large group.
Spring hours last from early March through Memorial Day and are Monday through Sunday from 9 AM until 4 PM. Summer hours start in June and run through Labor Day Weekend and are 9 AM to 5 PM. Fall hours are from September through Thanksgiving and are rom 9 AM until 4 PM. They are closed from December through early March.
