The Fantasy of Lights Christmas parade rolls through downtown Gatlinburg in early December, ringing in the holiday season. Floats have spectacular, one-of-a-kind light displays and there are balloons, marching bands, dancers as well as your favorite holiday characters. This event is ranked as one of the “Top 20 Events in the Southeast.” The parade is also broadcast on local television stations on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
