Tourists and residents flock to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge to watch the Music in the Mountains Spring Parade, an event designed to kick off summer. The parade celebrates the history and music of the area and kicks off at 6 PM on a date in mid-April. Musical groups and talented musicians fill the streets while the many theatres in Pigeon Forge offer special shows to celebrate the event.
